Frequently asked questions
How does the free trial work?
Create an account and you get 7 days with every feature. You do not pay anything to start. Before the trial ends, choose a plan from Settings → Subscription to keep selling.
Is there a difference between the plans?
No. Every plan has every feature. Plans only differ in how long they last: 3, 6 or 12 months. Longer plans cost less per month.
Does it work on a computer as well as a phone?
Yes. Suki Business runs in any modern browser on a phone, tablet, laptop or desktop. On your phone you can also add it to your home screen so it opens like an app.
How do I pay for a plan?
Payments go through Selcom. You can get a payment prompt on your phone (Lipa direct), pay with mobile money using a payment number, or pay from CRDB SimBanking, NMB Mkononi or SelcomPay. Your plan starts as soon as the payment is confirmed.
Can my staff use it too?
Yes. Add cashiers and managers, each with their own login. Cashiers can sell, create invoices and look up products and customers; managers also see reports, refunds and settings; only you manage staff accounts.
I already have a product list. Do I have to type it all in?
No. Download the spreadsheet template, fill in your products with cost and selling prices and stock, and import the file. Any rows that need fixing are listed so you can correct them and import again.
What is Suki Printer and do I need it?
Suki Printer is an optional device for your counter. It confirms mobile money payments to your till the moment they arrive, prints receipts, and sends you WhatsApp alerts. Suki Business works fully without it.
